Kennedy Guy Lawyers is a well-established and growing law firm based in Melbourne’s western suburbs, practicing across Commercial Law, Wills & Estates, Litigation, Property & Conveyancing. We are seeking an experienced and motivated lawyer to join our team. The role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of commercial litigation matters, servicing long-standing clients while contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

You will work autonomously while collaborating closely with our team across a broad range of matters, including:

Litigation Lawyer

• Running your own files autonomously

• Personally, dealing directly with clients

• Research

• Liasing and instructing barristers

• attending mediations and conciliation conferences

• Managing files from start to finish with minimal supervision

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be capable of managing files independently

• Possess strong drafting and negotiation skills

• Provide clear, practical and commercially focused advice

• Be confident appearing in court and at mediations (where applicable)

• Demonstrate excellent client relationship and communication skills

• Have strong organisational and time management abilities

• Thrive in a collaborative team environment

• Have experience using LEAP (highly regarded)
