Role Description

Innovaero is seeking an Accounts Officer to join our finance team. This is a casual position with the potential to transition into a permanent, full-time role. This role is responsible for maintaining financial accuracy and compliance across the group from accounts payable and receivable through to payroll, reconciliations, and month end reporting. It’s a great opportunity for someone who thrives on data integrity and process discipline, particularly as Innovaero moves through a strong growth phase ahead of a planned public listing.

 Key Responsibilities

• Manage shared mailboxes to ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
• Accurately enter financial and related data to support stakeholder reporting and decision making, ensuring data consistency.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, including timely and accurate client billing and cost classifying approved supplier invoices to support cash flow.
• Complete credit card and bank reconciliations across all group entities, ensuring transactions are accurately reflected in financial records.
• Process payroll end to end and support HR in keeping records aligned.
• Support the integrity of accounts through detailed reconciliations, ledger accuracy, and reporting cadence.
• Assist with month end close, ensuring AP/AR transactions and reconciliations are completed within set timeframes.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.

Note training will be provided on equipment where required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 1–2 years’ experience in a Finance/Accounts role.
• Demonstrated accountability and experience managing end to end AP/AR processes.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting.
• Exceptional attention to detail, high personal ownership, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Intermediate Excel skills, with confidence using and interpreting large data sets.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced, project oriented environment.
• Exposure to ERP systems desirable but not essential.
• Confident working with month end cycles, deadlines, and structured documentation.
