Software Implementation Specialist

Summary:

Obzervr is looking for a Software Implementation Specialist to guide our mining and industrial clients through the transition from paper-based workflows to our Digital Work Management Solution. This is a hands-on, client-facing delivery role – you will be on-site with clients, running training, driving go-lives, and being the trusted face of Obzervr throughout the implementation journey.

A strong technical team handles the platform build behind the scenes. Your focus is the client, the process, and the people.

What you will do:

• Lead on-site client training and go-live support across Australia
• Run discovery and workflow analysis sessions to map client processes onto the platform
• Facilitate UAT and manage issue resolution through to go-live readiness
• Deliver change management support to move clients confidently from paper to digital
• Build trusted relationships at all levels – from frontline workers to operational management
• Create tailored training materials and implementation documentation
• Use AI tools as a working partner to accelerate documentation and training content – with your judgement applied to every output

What we are looking for:

Path 1: Software implementers, trainers or consultants with client-facing delivery experience, ready to learn the mining and asset maintenance domain.

Path 2: Operational professionals – supervisors, planners or maintenance leads from mining, rail, ports or similar industries – who know the work on the ground and are ready to move into technology.

Whichever path you come from, you will bring:

• Strong process thinking and the ability to map current-state operations into practical solutions
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills across all organisational levels
• Technical aptitude – comfortable learning new systems and working with data
• Genuine willingness to travel regularly to client sites across Australia
• High personal organisation and the ability to manage multiple engagements at once

 

Bonus if you also have:

• ERP or EAM system knowledge (Pronto, SAP or similar)
• Change management certification or practical experience (Prosci, APMG)
• Experience with enterprise mobility or field service management platforms
