The Company…

Brisbane Scissor Lift Hire is a well-established Australian owned and operated company, that holds an extensive range of small to medium lifting equipment and machinery. Being dedicated to providing exceptional services, they offer their customers the tailored solution in providing reliable equipment and machinery over a broad range of industries. Due to the increased demand for their equipment, they are now seeking to appoint an Operations Manager, that can run the daily operations of the company.

The Position…

In this position, you will be required to oversee the operations of the company, where you will be controlling a fleet of 180 machines, various trucks and the outside transport department. Your role will be to ensure the scheduling of the day to day deliveries, pickups, taking bookings, building customer relations and managing a small team to ensure efficient operations of the company.

Furthermore, you will need to assist in processes such as;

• Developing objectives and participate in strategic planning for longer-term initiatives.
  
• Supporting less experienced employees to achieve goals by providing guidance and quality assurance.
  
• Liaising with maintenance staff ensuring equipment has been serviced and is ready for hire.
  
• Invoicing, performance management, coordinating hire schedules, facilitating procedures, taking in-bound enquiries and general administration duties.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Manager that displays excellent communication and administration skills, that can work collaboratively in a team environment while having a demonstrative ability to manage staff effectively. You will need to have experience in working under pressure, being focused on delivering positive outcomes, adept in coordinating operations and achieving management results from within a fast-paced, challenging environment.
