The Role

We currently require an experienced Waste Water Treatment & RO Plant Operator to join our team on Rottnest Island for a well known client site.

Reporting to the WA/RO Supervisor , the Waste Water Treatment& RO Plant Operator will work within the utilities team to maintain the Waste Water & RO  plant and repair any plant issues that occur.

The suitable applicant is required to use appropriate procedures and specifications and ensure activities are carried out to a satisfactory and timely manner. Specific projects may also be carried out as required.

• Waste water treatment process experience
• Bio waste management experience
• Sampling & analysis recording & reporting
• Contractor management
• SCADA operation
• Gas Testing
• PLC experience
• Sewer pump station & pipe network experience
• Plant housekeeping experience

Skills and experience

• Chlorine handing skills
• MR license
• Forklift license
• Confined Space ticket
• Working at heights

The Waste Water Treatment plant is a package plant operation that would suit anyone with remote, rural or mine sit experience.
