Law Clerk/Paralegal

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Law Clerk to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a rewarding career in family law while working alongside experienced practitioners in a supportive and collaborative environment.

This is a casual position, with set working days of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week.

This role would suit a law student, recent graduate or an experienced law clerk looking to further develop their career in family law.

• Assisting solicitors with the preparation and filing of legal documents, including court documents, affidavits, disclosure lists, chronologies and general correspondence

• Liaising with clients, courts, and third parties in a professional manner

• Conducting legal research and gathering relevant information

• Assisting with the preparation of briefs to counsel

• Maintaining electronic and physical client files in accordance with firm procedures and practice standards

• Providing administrative support to solicitors to ensure the efficient management of client matters

• Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment is desirable but not essential

• A high level of English proficiency (both written and spoken)

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)

• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

• A proactive, positive, and professional attitude

• Strong willingness to learn and develop within the legal field
