d'ASPORTO Group operates traditional Italian restaurants specialising in pizza and pasta. We're looking for an experienced Senior Preparation Chef to join our kitchen team in Williamstown. This role is strictly daytime hours, with no nights or weekends required — an excellent opportunity for a chef who's ready to step away from late nights and weekend shifts. It's a great fit for a skilled culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and enjoys leading a team to deliver consistently high-quality food.

About the Role
As Senior Preparation Chef, you'll take ownership of daily kitchen prep, supplying our 4 existing venues, wholesale clients, and catering orders. Main duties will include preparing sauces and ragùs, along with pizza ingredients, to a consistently high standard. You'll ensure smooth, organised operations across every order, while playing a key role in mentoring junior staff and keeping the kitchen running efficiently day to day.

Hours
Monday to Friday, with shift options of 9am–5pm or 8am–4pm. No weekend work required.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in kitchen operations
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and support kitchen staff
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage prep across multiple venues and order types
• A calm, methodical approach to high-volume prep work
• Experience in Italian cooking is beneficial but not mandatory
