Medical Receptionist

About the role

Earnest Care is a GP led medical and allied health centre dedicated to supporting people injured at work or in motor vehicle accidents under Workers Compensation (WorkCover) and CTP claims. We are looking for a friendly, caring and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional and compassionate customer service to patients.

• Schedule and manage patient appointments.

• Answer phone calls, emails and general enquiries.

• Perform accurate data entry and maintain organised patient and administrative records.

• Assist with WorkCover and CTP claims and liaise with insurance providers.

• Follow up outstanding payments, invoices and claims to ensure timely processing.

• Assist with basic bookkeeping administration.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.

• Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the reception and administration area.

About you

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a caring, patient-centred approach.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, categorise information, and manage large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.

• High attention to detail, with the ability to accurately manage financial records, patient information, and claim-related data.

• Good communication skills and a professional manner.

• Confidence using computers, spreadsheets and learning new technology.

• A proactive approach to following up outstanding payments, claims and administrative tasks.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to learn WorkCover and CTP processes.

• Korean language skill preferable.

• Completion of Year 12 or equivalent.

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency required for this position.
