CRAMLI Psychological and Behavioural Services is looking for Proficient and Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our Cairns team on a contracting basis.

We operate a hybrid workforce model of permanent employees and contractors, with our contractors welcomed as part of the broader CRAMLI team. This means you can enjoy the flexibility of contracting while remaining connected to a supportive and established Behaviour Support team.

Importantly, we have a ready-to-go caseload available in Cairns and are looking for practitioners who have capacity to commence providing in-person services within the Cairns Atherton and Tablelands regions.

A Contractor Role with Team Connection

We understand that contractors value flexibility and autonomy, but that doesn't mean you need to work in isolation.

Our contractors are included within the broader CRAMLI team and have opportunities to:

• Attend in house professional development and training opportunities alongside our permanent team.

• Participate in CRAMLI team meetings and connect with our in-house practitioners.

• Collaborate with experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners and leadership.

• Remain connected to the organisation while maintaining the flexibility of contracting.

• Access a CRAMLI-provided laptop and phone and utilisation of our CRM to support the delivery of services.

• Step into an established, ready-to-go Cairns caseload, rather than needing to source your own participants.

About You

For this opportunity, we are looking for established practitioners who:

• Are assessed as a Proficient or Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner.

• Are available to provide in-person services in Cairns and surrounding areas.

• Are confident completing Functional Behaviour Assessments and developing high-quality Behaviour Support Plans.

• Have strong knowledge of restrictive practices, NDIS requirements and relevant Behaviour Support obligations.

• Can independently manage their caseload, appointments, documentation and stakeholder communication.

• Have strong report-writing and professional communication skills.

• Value collaboration and being connected with a broader clinical team.

• Hold all relevant qualifications, registrations, worker screening checks and other requirements applicable to delivering NDIS Behaviour Support services.
