👩‍🏫 About the Role

As Service Leader and Nominated Supervisor, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the kindergarten, inspire and support educators, and ensure the delivery of high-quality early learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and inspire a passionate team of Educators and Early Childhood Teacher.

• Ensure smooth operations, compliance, and effective management of the service.

• Drive our continuous improvement journey through the Quality Improvement Plan and alignment with the National Quality Framework (NQF).

• Champion our Christian ethos in everything you do, creating a space where children, families, and staff feel connected and valued.

• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the wider community.

• Promote the service and its programs with warmth and professionalism.

🎓 About You

A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA-approved equivalent (Diploma-qualified educators will also be considered).

• Demonstrated leadership experience in early childhood education.

• Completed relevant Child Protection Training course (as per Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law)

• Strong interpersonal skills — you listen well, communicate clearly, and bring warmth to your work.

• Experience with leading and supporting a team through a transformative change process

• Sound knowledge of the National Quality Standards, Early Years Learning Framework, and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.

• A current Police Check and Blue Card, along with First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.

• A commitment to working within the Christian ethos of the Lutheran Church.

• Experience using Xplor (advantageous but not essential).
