We’re looking for an energetic, reliable, and customer-focused Front of House Team Member who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a supportive and growing team.

About the Role

As a Front of House Team Member, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while helping maintain the high standards that make Cartel Taqueria a favourite within the local community.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Opening and closing the venue
• Greeting and engaging with customers
• Taking food and beverage orders
• Serving alcoholic beverages in accordance with RSA requirements
• Processing transactions through our POS system
• Running food and drinks to tables
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment
• Assisting with daily operational and cleaning tasks
• Working closely with the team to ensure smooth service

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a current RSA Certificate (essential)
• Has previous hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)
• Communicates confidently and professionally
• Is reliable, punctual, and takes ownership of their role
• Enjoys working in a busy, team-oriented environment
• Leads by example and maintains high service standards
• Takes initiative and looks for ways to help the team succeed
• Brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic to every shift
• Is available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
