About the role

Ready to get off the tools and take the next step in your career? JDR Homes is offering a genuine pathway into site management for a motivated Junior Site Manager, based on the North West Coast of Tasmania. You'll work alongside experienced Site Managers, gaining hands-on training and support as you build the skills and confidence to lead your own residential building projects.

What you'll be doing

•        Support the planning and management of project timelines, budgets and schedules

•        Assist in coordinating and overseeing the work of subcontractors and internal teams

•        Learn to identify, assess and manage project risks and issues

•        Help ensure compliance with building codes, regulations and safety requirements

•        Communicate progress to key stakeholders, building your client-facing and leadership skills along the way

What we're looking for

•        A trade background or hands-on construction experience- you're ready to move off the tools and into a site management career

•        A genuine interest in project management and a hunger to learn

•        Good communication, problem-solving and decision making skills

•        Willingness to learn project management software and tools

•        A team player attitude and a strong work ethic
