Senior Structural Detailer – Modular Construction

We're looking for an experienced Senior Structural Detailer to join our Design & Estimating team in Luscombe, QLD. What You'll Be Doing 

Reporting to the Detailing Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate structural detailing packages that support efficient manufacturing and successful project delivery. 

Working closely with the Design, Manufacturing and Project teams, you'll ensure drawings meet project requirements, Australian Standards and ATCO quality expectations while contributing to continuous improvement across our detailing processes. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and independently deliver structural detailing packages in line with project specifications, standards and timeframes.  

• Prepare high-quality structural and construction detail drawings using industry best practice.  

• Work closely with Design, Manufacturing and Project teams to ensure drawings align with project scope and manufacturing requirements.  

• Proactively identify and resolve structural detailing issues.  

• Review production drawings and support quality outcomes across project documentation.  

• Maintain and improve ATCO's structural detail library and standard drawing templates.  

• Ensure drawing sets, certifications and approvals are completed accurately and issued on time.  

• Undertake structural inspections during manufacturing and on-site as required.  

• Support and mentor junior members of the detailing team.  

What You'll Bring 

You're a proactive and highly organised Structural Detailer with a strong technical background and excellent attention to detail. You enjoy working collaboratively, solving problems and delivering quality outcomes on every project. 

You'll also bring: 

• Diploma in Design, Engineering or a related discipline.  

• Proven experience in a Structural Detailing or similar role.  

• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC) and construction methods.  

• Experience across a range of building types and construction projects.  

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.  

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality documentation.  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.  

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple projects and meet deadlines.  

• A proactive, self-motivated approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
