Site Administrator

Platinum Locating Services (PLS) specialises in providing utility location and mapping of underground services to the construction industry and utility asset owners across the Perth metropolitan area.

We require a full-time Site Administrator who to work at our Belmont office to join the team.

To be considered for this role all applicants will be required to meet the following criteria as a minimum.

• Strong communication skills;

• Excellent attention to detail;

• Highly organised and the ability to adapt to changing and conflicting priorities;

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;

• Logical and methodical approach to all tasks

• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word; and

• Ability to follow systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

The position involves the following but is not limited to:

• Responsible for the bookings and enquiries e-mail by providing prompt responses and confirming upcoming works

• Ordering of Before You Dig Australia plans

• Ordering of permits such as traffic and surveys

• Assisting with the scheduling of work crews;

• Ensuring all Site familiarisation inductions are completed for all employees, subcontractors and visitors on site;

• Assist the Project Manager Supervisor to ensure all resources / site activities and associated cost codes are entered into the Site Diary on a daily basis, including recording labour, plant and subcontractor resources;

• Raising purchase orders, management of delivery dockets in the system; 

• Review and processing of project invoices for management approval, including managing invoice queries with suppliers / subcontractors;

• Maintain effective and efficient hard and soft filing systems; 

• General administration duties such as but not limited to stationery orders for site office and monitor and maintain printer areas; 

• Archiving and close out of project works.

• Maintaining and issuing of all PPE
