Job Summary and Objective

• To provide quality servicing / maintenance, preventative and breakdown repairs in a safe and efficient manner to ensure the equipment achieves a high level of availability and reliability.

• Effective support being provided to the Fixed Plant Maintenance teams across Western Australia on all sites.

• Undertake Rubber Lining and Belt Splicing Activities

• Actively participate in training working towards the ability to respond to plant demands and execute high quality belt maintenance.

• Actively participate in training working towards the ability to execute preventative belt maintenance inspections and identify equipment malfunction.

• Undertake aspects of rubber lining and belt splicing activities.

Preferred Quals Requirement:

• Working at Heights Certificate 

• Confined Space Certificate

• Gas Test Atmosphere Certificate

• HRWL - Dogging, rigging, forklift or elevate work platform ticket.

• White Card 

• National Police Clearance

• Drivers License 

About You:

• Ability to fulfill the inherent physical tasks required of this job.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A screen.

• Willingness to learn.

• Ability to follow direction and instructions.

• A strong commitment to safety and quality with proven results

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box.

• Experience on mine sites highly advantageous
