Volunteer Manager – Aged Care & Veteran Services

We're seeking a Volunteer Manager to lead RSL LifeCare's Volunteer Program across residential aged care, retirement living, and veteran services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and deliver RSL LifeCare's volunteer management framework, policies, and processes.

• Manage volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, engagement, and recognition programs.

• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and volunteer management standards.

• Maintain volunteer records and reporting, including training and compliance requirements.

• Support managers and teams who work with volunteers across the organisation.

• Coordinate volunteer involvement in key events, including ANZAC Day, Remembrance Day, and community initiatives.

• Drive continuous improvement and implement best-practice volunteer management initiatives.

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external community partners.
   

About You:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in volunteer management, recreation therapy, leisure and lifestyle, or a related field.

• Relevant qualifications in Volunteer Management, Human Resources, Management, Health Sciences, or similar.

• Strong knowledge of the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement.

• Experience managing compliance and risk in a regulated environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and volunteer management systems.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• A compassionate, people-focused approach with the ability to build meaningful relationships.
