This is a key leadership opportunity for an experienced Business Services Manager or high-performing Assistant Manager ready to step up into a broader advisory-focused role. Working closely with Partners and senior leadership, you will oversee a quality portfolio of SME and mid-market clients while leading a capable team across compliance, advisory, workflow planning and client strategy. 

The Role: 

• Manage and grow a portfolio of SME, private business and family group clients  

• Act as a trusted adviser across accounting, tax, structuring and commercial matters  

• Review complex financial statements and income tax returns across multiple entity types  

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Accountants, Seniors and emerging leaders  

• Work closely with Partners on advisory projects, workflow planning and client strategy  

• Drive client relationship management and ensure high-quality service delivery  

• Contribute to systems improvement, process enhancement and operational initiatives  

• Support broader business development and strategic growth opportunities  

About You: 

• CA or CPA qualified  

• Strong Australian public practice experience across Business Services / Tax  

• Current Manager experience or proven Assistant Manager ready to step up  

• Strong technical compliance capability with confidence in advisory conversations  

• Demonstrated leadership and team development experience  

• Commercial mindset with strong client relationship capability  

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills  

• Proactive, solutions-focused and motivated to drive both client and team success
