Located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, Pastuso is a vibrant Peruvian restaurant celebrating the bold flavours, colours and traditions of Peru. Our bar is a big part of the Pastuso experience, with a strong focus on Pisco, creative cocktails and wine, all delivered alongside warm, energetic hospitality.

Who We Are

Position Available

Casual Bartender – Restaurant Award Level 2

We’re looking for a Casual Bartender to join the Pastuso team, with plenty of hours available as we head into our busy summer period:

• Now–October: approximately 15–20 hours per week

• November–February: approximately 30–38 hours per week

This is a great opportunity if you’re looking for consistent casual work now, with the opportunity to pick up close to full-time hours over summer.

Monday–Friday: $33.85 per hour
Saturday: $40.62 per hour
Sunday: $40.62 per hour
Public Holidays: $67.70 per hour

Your Day-to-Day Will Include

• Preparing and serving cocktails, spirits, wine and beer to a consistently high standard in a busy restaurant environment

• Providing warm, engaging service, confidently making recommendations and developing your knowledge of Pisco and Latin American spirits

• Keeping the bar organised, stocked and running smoothly while working closely with the wider FOH team throughout service

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1–2 years’ bartending experience in a busy restaurant, cocktail bar or similar hospitality environment, with strong cocktail-making skills and beverage knowledge

• Confidence working efficiently behind the bar during busy services while maintaining quality, consistency and attention to detail

• A current Victorian RSA and availability to work 30–38 hours per week between November and February
