National Operations Manager - Select Hygiene

The National Operations Manager - Select Hygiene - reporting to Director, will provide strategic and operational leadership across the Hygiene Services division, taking responsibility for overall business performance and service excellence. The role will oversee service delivery, cost management, tendering support, client satisfaction, team development and environmental compliance.

Working collaboratively with key internal departments, will ensure efficient and seamless service operations, support business and revenue growth, and drive adherence to company policies, operational standards and sustainability objectives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead day-to-day hygiene service operations, ensuring delivery standards are met or exceeded.
• Manage divisional labour and consumables expenditure within approved budgets
• Oversee stock and divisional stock control, including procurement, usage monitoring, and reporting.
• Design, implement, and adjust service run schedules for maximum efficiency.
• Ensure all service equipment and vehicles are maintained and compliant.
• Continuously improve and standardise hygiene service operations through the development and implementation of robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Sales & Business Development - manage sales growth
• Ensure consistent high-quality client service is delivered across all sites
• Facilitate staff onboarding, training, development, and ongoing performance management.
• Prepare monthly operational, financial, and performance reports

• Maintain accurate documentation for all operations, staffing, client contracts, and inventory.

• Participate in WHS meetings and comply with company safety standards, induction handbook, and policies. Promote the use of eco-friendly products and sustainable service methods.
  
  QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations and/or sales management within a service delivery environment.

  Demonstrated experience in team leadership, budgeting, and scheduling.

  High-level interpersonal and communication skills.

  Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office, CRM, route planning, and stock management systems.

  Experience in the hygiene, facilities, or cleaning services industry.

  Understanding of sustainability and environmental compliance in service delivery.

  Essential:

  • The successful candidate must have full and unrestricted Australian work rights and driving licence. 
  • Working with Children Check.
  • The ability to successful pass a formal police check.
