We’re growing, and are in the process of opening our second office in Parramatta.

The role

This is a rare opportunity for a junior lawyer to build a genuine litigation practice from the ground up, working directly alongside our Partners. You won’t be lost in a team of twenty or stuck on one narrow task, you’ll run real files, see matters end to end, and be given as much responsibility as you can handle.

Your work will span:

• Commercial litigation — contractual disputes, business disputes and Supreme/District Court proceedings

• Property and leasing disputes — including retail and commercial leasing, and our well-established childcare centre leasing work

• Building and construction disputes — security of payment, contract and defects matters

• Planning and environment — appeals, compliance and prosecution-related work

• Debt recovery and enforcement — from letters of demand through to judgment and enforcement

About you

You’re early in your career (0–2 years PQE) but hungry to learn and ready to take ownership. Specifically, you’ll have:

• Admission (or eligibility for admission) as a solicitor in NSW, and a current or readily obtainable NSW practising certificate

• A genuine interest in litigation and dispute resolution

• Strong drafting, research and analytical skills

• Sharp attention to detail and sound commercial judgement

• The confidence to manage client contact and the humility to ask questions

• A collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude that suits a close-knit boutique
