Digital Content & Social Media Coordinator

FULL TIME role being offered for Website content coordination and management, responsible for owning and managing Sadaqa Welfare Fund’s (SWF) web presence through social media support as well, its subsidiaries and other businesses that may be directly or indirectly associated with SWF or its owners/director. This role will lead the high-level strategic alignment of the Sadaqa Welfare Fund brand, projects, initiatives and other businesses to achieve maximum impact.

The role requires a self-starter with a can-do attitude. The position requires proficiency in web and app content management, social media support and content coordination with a focus on communication with cross functional teams. This is a fully office-based role and does not offer any remote or hybrid working options.

Website & App Content

• Publish and update projects, fundraising appeals, campaigns, events and other content across the organisation's website and app.

• Ensure project information, images, copy, links and other digital content remain accurate and up to date.

• Regularly refresh project images and content so donors can see current updates and activity.

• Review and organise incoming project photos, videos and other media, selecting appropriate assets for use across digital channels.

• Identify basic website or app content issues and coordinate with the relevant internal team or developers when technical assistance is required.

Social Media Support

• Coordinate with the social media team with scheduling and publishing content across relevant platforms.

• Monitor comments, messages, reviews and mentions, responding where appropriate and escalating sensitive enquiries to the relevant team.

• Keep social media profiles up to date, including profile images, cover images, bios, links and other account information.

• Coordinate in selecting and preparing suitable project images, videos and content for social media use.

Content Coordination

• Work with relevant teams to obtain timely project updates, images and information.

• Help maintain a digital content calendar to ensure website, app and social media updates are published on time.

• Ensure content follows organisational branding, messaging and quality standards.
  

About you

The ideal candidate will possess excellent skills in designing and delivering innovative Social Media Marketing campaigns promoting organisational products and services. 

• Demonstrated track record in web content coordination and management, social media support or related digital platform roles

• At least 5 years of professional experience managing and maintaining websites

• Strong problem-solving ability for web, platform, and integration-related technical issues

• Comfortable working with software developers, project teams, and non-technical stakeholders to document workflows and system requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and handling data accurately with strong attention to detail

• Solid analytical skills, able to interpret data and provide actionable insights

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web technologies

• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments

• Prior experience in a similar sector or industry is considered a plus
