2ND CLASS WELDER / ASSEMBLER

About the role

Bullock SA is seeking a skilled 2nd Class Welder / Assembler to join our team on a full-time basis at our facility in Dry Creek, SA 5094. You will contribute to the production and assembly of high-quality HVAC components. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to work with modern welding equipment and collaborate with an experienced team.

Key responsibilities

Perform welding operations using various welding techniques including MIG and TIG welding to join metal components

• Assemble welded components

• Operate welding equipment safely and maintain equipment in good working condition

• Perform preparation work such as cutting, grinding and cleaning of materials prior to welding

• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production deadlines and targets

• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety protocols

• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisory staff

What we're looking for

Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting

• Competency in multiple welding processes including MIG and TIG welding techniques

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing work to high quality standards

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Physical fitness and capability to perform tasks requiring standing, bending and lifting heavy materials

• Reliability and punctuality in meeting work commitments

• Experience in assembly work or knowledge of mechanical assembly principles is desirable
