The Role

We’re currently searching for an experienced Claims Consultant to join our Travel Claims team. This Opportunity would suit experienced claims handlers who have worked within the insurance industry either in Travel Insurance or General Insurance. We invest in our people through succession planning and have a number of mentoring and training programs available.

The position will be offered on a permanent full-time basis and we offer a flexible hybrid approach of working in our Brisbane or Sydney CBD offices and Working From Home (WFH).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing a high-level customer service to all internal and external partners
• Managing a portfolio of Travel insurance claims, applying policy wording and guidelines to a customer’s claimed circumstances
• Processing claims from end to end to ensure resolution
• Engaging external rehabilitation assistance to assist individuals return to work
• Customer interactions by email and over the phone

• Claims handling experience

• High level of attention to detail
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, spoken and written communication skills
• PC literate – Database and Microsoft Office
