Casual Customer Sales Representative

Ward Packaging is a reputable, innovative and environmentally conscious food packaging distributer situated in Gnangara. We are searching for a casual office-based Customer Sales Representative to work in a fast paced, friendly and positive work environment as part of our Sales Team.

With over 3000 product lines and a huge customer base, some previous experience with telephone sales and working with computer software will be highly regarded. However, enthusiastic, friendly and customer service focused candidates with an eagerness to learn will be considered for an interview. 

The ability to positively engage with our valuable customer base is an essential requirement for this position, we are looking for a confident individual with excellent relationship building skills. The successful candidate must possess a positive attitude and willingness to exceed customer’s expectations in terms of our highly regarded service.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
• First point of customer contact both over the phone and face-to-face.
• Answering the phone in a timely manner.
• Process orders from phone, email and walk ins.
• Coordinate customer requests and queries with purchasing and dispatch.
• Resolution of customer complaints.
• Invoicing and receipting payments.
• Assist with general office duties and other administrative support tasks.

Skills & Experience:
• Prior experience within a sales or office environment would be highly beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Friendly and customer service focused.
• Proactive attitude and desire to continually self-improve.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to multitask, be highly organised and effectively manage time with a fast-paced approach.
• Problem-solving and resourceful.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good typing speed and ability to quickly learn new systems and technology.

The role will require 2-3 days per week and leave cover as needed. Availability from Monday through Friday is essential. We are looking to offer the successful applicant an immediate start.
