About the role
As Manager, Regulatory Affairs, you will play a key role in helping Cbus identify, assess, plan and implement regulatory change while also supporting effective, transparent and well-governed engagement with regulators. Working across Operations, Administration, Legal, Risk, Compliance and external service providers, you will translate regulatory requirements into practical business outcomes that strengthen the effective implementation of regulator obligations across the Fund.
This role supports the end-to-end regulatory change management lifecycle, from identifying new regulatory developments through to implementation, transition into business-as-usual operations and post-implementation review. As part of a small, collaborative team, you will also contribute to regulator engagement activities, regulatory reporting, submissions, reviews and information requests involving regulators including APRA and ASIC.
Key Accountabilities:
Monitor, assess and coordinate the implementation of regulatory change across the Fund and its service providers.Support the end-to-end regulatory change lifecycle, from identification and impact assessment through to implementation, transition to business-as-usual and post-implementation review.Coordinate regulatory engagements, reviews, meetings and responses with regulators, including APRA and ASIC.Prepare and coordinate regulatory submissions, correspondence, reporting and information requests.Track regulatory commitments, risks, actions and implementation progress, ensuring timely escalation where required.
What will you bring?
Experience in Superannuation, Financial services or another highly regulated industry.Strong operational experience within superannuation administration, fund administration, custody, investment operations, member administration or a related operational environment.Demonstrated understanding of regulatory obligations and their impact on business operationsOutstanding stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levelsStrong attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex regulatory environment
