Mechanical Trade Assistant

As a Trades Assistant, you will have a passion for precision and an eye for detail. Responsible for the assembly of heavy haulage trailers and components, you will be able to confidently interpret engineering drawings and competently assemble the trailers under the guidance of skilled Trades People.

About the role

As a motivated Trade Assistant who has a passion for working with a team of like-minded skilled individuals, you will be part of a team that is responsible for the manufacture of heavy haulage trailers and components, including Hydraulics, and Electrics.

What we are looking for: 

• Hold a current Forklift License (preferred but not essential)

• Previous experience in a similar role (Equipment Assembly and/or Manufacturing)

• Confident using a variety of power tools in a heavy equipment workshop
