ABOUT THE ROLE
Network Media Group is looking for someone proactive, efficient, who is solutions-focussed and keen to be part of a dynamic team of industry experts.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing all of our financial activities ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
This includes (but is not limited to) the following:Must use Xero and be an expert in it.Preparing weekly financial reports.Client invoicing (regular monthly billing and project-based invoices).Preparing monthly and quarterly BAS / IAS.Payroll processing and reporting.Liaising with our company Accountant.Following up overdue invoice payments.
About You7+ years experience as an Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper (IT / Agency industry advantageous, or in a service-based industry).Proven experience in using Xero and the Microsoft Office Suite.Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is an advantage.Strong knowledge of financial practices, cost control, and reporting requirements.Strong attention to detail, organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.Excellent communication and customer service skills.A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.A team player with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.Ideally someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
