Registered BAS/Tax agent + Practice Manager

Now we're looking for a key addition to our team.

Clients come in all shapes and sizes, with a myriad of questions, challenges and interesting ideas to say the least. And thankfully, we get to answer these from the comfort of home (or wherever you feel like being for the day) and with a team member just a phone call away if you need a little vent or to celebrate a win(e)!

The Role

You are a detailed-orientated person (of course you are, you're a bookkeeper, I hear you say) that has their time management down to an art and can teach us all a thing or 2 about that.

You also love variety in your every day and would love to work with a range of interesting and diverse clients, but you'd like to do that from home and have the flexibility of making your schedule work around YOUR priorities and not the other way around.

Your day-to-day work tasks include anything and everything in the bookkeeping realm. We are BAS agents and offer a full range of bookkeeping solutions and require a registered BAS agent to join the team in this role. If you're a Tax agent - double points!

Technology is your friend and you understand that by mastering the processes and systems, your day is more efficient, you win, we win, the client wins.

We would love someone to join our team who not only is a registered BAS agent, but has had experience in managing a small team of bookkeepers. They will be required to dive straight in to our client files as they have all the basics mastered.

We also have some big dreams and goals for FY27 so if you're a registered Tax agent, we would love to hear from you. Taking the practice to the next level is what we want to do, so if you're ready to help make those dreams a reality, this could be the perfect opportunity.

We are a 100% Xero practice so experience in that is essential, as is experience in Dext. We use Asana to manage the practice so knowledge of that is helpful.

In turn, we offer extremely flexible hours of around 20-30 hours a week that can be completed as works in your week - school hours, shift work, sleep-ins, we get it. This role could transition to full time for the right candidate.

You'll get to work with some amazing small business owners that have trusted us over the years with all of their bookkeeping needs and we're always growing and evolving as small teams do.

Pay: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
