Part-Time Bookkeeper – 10 Hours Per Week

Concrete Protection Australia is seeking an experienced and reliable part-time Bookkeeper to support the financial administration of our growing retail and trade business in Burnley.

This is a permanent part-time position working approximately 10 hours per week, spread across two days. The role may suit an experienced bookkeeper looking for flexible, school-friendly hours and a stable, long-term position.

About the role

Working closely with management and our finance support team, you will support the financial administration of Concrete Protection Australia's growing retail and trade business in Burnley. This is a permanent part-time position working approximately 10 hours per week, spread across two days.

Key responsibilities

• Entering and reviewing supplier invoices

• Processing accounts payable and preparing supplier payments

• Allocating customer payments and assisting with accounts receivable

• Following up overdue customer accounts when required

• Reconciling bank accounts and credit card transactions

• Reconciling daily retail sales, EFTPOS receipts and bank deposits

• Reviewing transactions imported through bank feeds

• Investigating and correcting transaction discrepancies

• Maintaining accurate financial records in MYOB

• Supporting month-end reconciliations and reporting

About you

• Previous bookkeeping or accounts experience

• Practical experience with bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Confident using MYOB or similar accounting software

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

• Able to investigate discrepancies and follow transactions through to resolution

• Organised and able to manage priorities independently

• Communicates professionally with customers, suppliers and colleagues

• Understands the importance of confidentiality when handling financial information

• Dependable and available to work consistently each week
