Civil Drainage Supervisor

BCP Group is a long established company based in the South West, with operating divisions covering civil contracting, plant hire, sand extraction & supply and demolition. Following a period of growth, the business is looking for a civil site supervisor with experience supervising civil infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the importance of teamwork through a proven track record of on time delivery and running a project to budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the civil infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and safety protocols

• Monitor construction progress, quality of work, and resource allocation, making real-time adjustments as needed

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met

• Train new employees on machine operation, earthworks, safety protocols, job responsibilities, and company policies

• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency on the construction site

Essential Attributes

To be considered for this position we are seeking the following skills and experience:

• Extensive experience as a Civil Drainage Supervisor

• Proven experience in civil construction supervision, ideally with main roads spec projects

• Strong knowledge of civil construction techniques, materials, and equipment

• Knowledge of excavation, pipe laying, lasers, grade setting, and Water Corp specifications

• Ability to read and understand construction plans to formulate required site works

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively

• Understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to creating a secure work environment

• Ability to pass a drug/alcohol screen & company medical
