Licensed Demolition Supervisor

Full-time | FIFO, DIDO and project-based travel across Australia

PPM is seeking to appoint an experienced Licensed Demolition Supervisor to support major demolition projects nationally.

This hands-on relief role will provide site leadership during project mobilisations, peak workloads, supervisor leave and other operational requirements. Projects may span industrial, mining, energy, infrastructure, commercial and remediation environments.

The Role

You will:

• Supervise complex and high-risk demolition activities

• Coordinate site crews, subcontractors, plant and equipment

• Lead pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety briefings

• Implement demolition methodologies, work packs and engineering controls

• Manage site safety, productivity, sequencing and logistics

• Identify project risks and implement practical controls

• Maintain site reports, permits and safety documentation

• Liaise with clients, project teams and regulatory representatives

• Provide regular updates on performance, risks and resourcing

About You

You are an adaptable, safety-focused supervisor who can quickly integrate into established teams and take control of active projects with minimal handover.

You will require:

• A current Demolition Supervisor Licence

• At least five years’ demolition supervision experience

• Experience managing high-risk demolition activities

• Construction White Card and current driver’s licence

• Strong knowledge of Australian WHS and demolition regulations

• Experience supervising crews, subcontractors and plant operations

• Full Australian working rights

Rigging, dogging, crane, confined-space, working-at-heights, asbestos supervision and First Aid qualifications will be highly regarded.

Travel Requirements

You must be available for national FIFO and DIDO assignments, remote and regional projects, variable rosters, extended deployments and occasional short-notice mobilisations.
