Seeking an Academic Intervention Specialist & Learning Diversity Teacher
The Academic Intervention Specialist & Learning Diversity Teacher is a member of Academic Staff and plays a key role in supporting students to achieve their learning potential through inclusive, evidence-informed practice. Working closely with students, families, teachers and school leaders, the role focuses on literacy and numeracy intervention, Learning Diversity support, and the use of assessment data to inform student learning and progress.
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) 12-month appointment commencing January 2027, with the possibility of ongoing employment. Based at our Plenty Campus, the role works primarily with students in Years 7 and 8 and includes a combination of intervention and Learning Diversity responsibilities, with flexibility to respond to the evolving needs of the School.
What you will do
The Academic Intervention Specialist & Learning Diversity Teacher is a key member of our academic community. Reporting to the Director of Evidence Informed Learning and Head of Learning Diversity, and working closely with classroom teachers, faculty leaders and families, you will deliver targeted literacy and numeracy intervention, support students requiring additional adjustments, and contribute to positive learning outcomes for a diverse range of learners.
