About the Role

As a Customer Service / Sales Support Administrator, you will play a central role in supporting our commercial sales function by managing customer enquiries, maintaining sales opportunities within CRM, coordinating projects, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

This is a highly varied and fast-paced role that combines customer service, sales administration, account support, pipeline management, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Administration & Pipeline Support

• Support the commercial sales team by managing and progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline
• Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure data integrity across all customer and project activities
• Assist with lead generation, lead nurturing, and customer follow-up activities
• Coordinate appointments and support activities for external sales representatives
• Support the conversion of enquiries into sales opportunities

Customer & Account Support

• Manage customer enquiries and orders via phone and email
• Deliver responsive, professional, and solutions-focused customer service
• Build strong relationships with key customers and project stakeholders
• Provide updates on quotations, manufacturing schedules, deliveries, and project progress
• Manage customer complaints, quality concerns, credits, and returns professionally and efficiently

Order & Project Coordination

• Process customer orders accurately and within required timeframes
• Coordinate activities between customers, sales, estimating, logistics, and manufacturing teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and project records

About You

You are an organised and customer-focused professional with a passion for supporting sales teams and delivering exceptional service. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to commercial success.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 5+ years' experience in sales support, sales administration, customer service, or account coordination
• Proven experience in a high-volume, phone-based customer service or sales support environment
• Confidence managing a large volume of inbound and outbound customer interactions while maintaining a professional and solutions-focused approach
• Strong experience building customer relationships and progressing opportunities through effective phone and email communication
• Experience using SAP, CRM systems, and Microsoft Excel
• Proven experience managing customer accounts and sales pipelines
• Excellent administration and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-centric approach
• Ability to prioritise competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience within commercial construction, manufacturing, building products, or a related industry will be highly regarded
