Bistro Supervisor

The Emerald Hotel is looking for an experienced Bistro Supervisor to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is confident leading our floor team, enjoys customer engagement and takes pride in delivering great customer service.

The Emerald Hotel is a well-established South Melbourne Pub/Bistro with a strong local following offering quality food and drinks and a welcoming atmosphere. There is a focus on regular repeat customers and functions and group bookings.

We offer a mix of pub dining, bistro dining, bar service, functions and events.

We are looking for people who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a team. As we continue to grow, we are looking for experienced hospitality professionals who want to take ownership, lead by example and help us grow.

About You

We are looking for an experienced and confident hospitality professional who enjoys working in on the floor, coordinating functions and training staff and can lead a team by example.

You will be someone who:

• Has a minimum two years of previous experience as a Bistro Supervisor or head waiter ready to take the next step.

• Is confident managing and leading the front of house team during service.

• Can stay calm under pressure.

• Can implement systems and train staff.

• Is organized, reliable and well presented.

• Can liaise with the kitchen team and management team.

• Is available to work during the days, evenings and weekends.

• There is opportunity for progression.
