Exporting to more than 25 countries, with warehouses across three continents and teams based in Sydney (Frenchs Forest) and Macksville, NSW.
This role is based in Sydney (Frenchs Forest) and may suit an experienced Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist looking to relocate to Sydney for an exciting career opportunity combining clinical expertise, education, travel and global industry engagement.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist who is ready to step beyond clinical practice and build a rewarding career in business, education, content creation, professional speaking and global industry engagement.
Based in Sydney, this full-time position will play a key role in developing and delivering Erskine Oral Care's global clinical education strategy. You will help deliver engaging educational programs including lectures, webinars, workshops, hands-on training courses, and conference presentations to dental professionals, students, and training institutions across Australia and worldwide. Successful candidates will be provided with comprehensive training, educational resources, presentation materials, and mentoring through our Train the Trainer program.
Working closely with senior leadership, distributors, educators and dental professionals around the world, you will help shape the future of clinical education for one of Australia's leading oral care brands.
Key Responsibilities
Developing opportunities in USA and globally for engagement with teaching institutions, trade shows, conferences as well as organising company run lectures and hands-on courses.
Training a number of hygiene qualified persons in the USA, UK and other countries and working with and supervising these people, as well as the USA education manager.
Deliver lectures, webinars, workshops and hands-on training programs to dental professionals and students. (Training content and materials will be supplied).
Co-ordinate and represent Piksters and Erskine Oral Care at major dental and oral health conferences, trade shows and industry events, mainly in Australia.
Developing modular slide decks and product education packages for Australia and for use by the USA/UK trainers for a variety of lecture lengths and hands-on courses
Develop a library of resources for trainers.
Conduct literature reviews and maintain knowledge of current evidence-based clinical practices and product efficacy.
Research emerging oral care products, techniques and technologies.
Liaise with KOLs to capture clinical photographs and contribute to educational content development.
Build positive relationships with dental professionals, educational institutions and industry partners.
Support social media and educational marketing initiatives with content creation and administration, including liaison with social media team members.
Promote a culture of professionalism, quality and continuous improvement.
Report to the executive team proposed activities and results of those activities.
Collaborate frequently with other managers and staff, participate in ad hoc brainstorming, problem solving and planning meetings.
Experience & Knowledge
Essential
Minimum 10 years' clinical experience as a Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist.
Current AHPRA registration.
Strong knowledge of preventive dentistry, oral health promotion and evidence-based practice.
Exceptional presentation, communication and public speaking skills.
Advanced PowerPoint skills (or commitment to learn) and strong Microsoft Office capability.
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Willingness to travel regularly throughout Australia and internationally.
Own car and ability to attend the Frenchs Forest office daily
Highly Regarded
Experience delivering presentations, workshops, webinars or CPD programs.
Experience coordinating conferences, seminars or educational events.
Content development, educational writing or curriculum development experience.
Experience working with distributors or international markets.
Strong professional network within the dental industry.
