Head of IT Architecture & Cybersecurity

The Company is seeking a Head of IT Architecture and Cybersecurity to take on a pivotal role in defining and executing the IT architecture and cybersecurity strategy for a regional aviation hub. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of IT architecture, from defining reference and domain architectures to establishing long-term IT roadmaps. Additionally, the role involves leading the Architecture Review Board, driving cybersecurity maturity programs, and ensuring robust risk mitigation across both public and private cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in IT architecture and cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership position, and a background in critical infrastructure or aviation environments. Key responsibilities for the Head of IT Architecture and Cybersecurity include owning and leading the Architecture Review Board, working with external vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and partnering with the capital investment team on technology initiatives. The role also requires the implementation of cybersecurity compliance frameworks and the direct management of daily security operations, including threat detection and incident response. The candidate should have a deep understanding of core cybersecurity frameworks and be adept at guiding business verticals through domain-specific IT architectures, risk management, and security controls. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, along with industry-recognized certifications such as TOGAF or equivalent, and a strong capability in vendor and compliance governance.
