About the Role:
We’re seeking a Transaction Administrator – Residential Property, Location –Redfern, NSW for a Full time Permanent opportunity.
Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of this role is to coordinate and administer all operational aspects of residential property transactions across The Salvation Army property portfolio. The role is responsible for ensuring property acquisitions and disposals are managed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with internal policies and legislative requirements. The position provides end-to-end transaction support, including legal coordination, financial administration, settlement management, invoice processing, and stakeholder communication.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Coordinate residential property acquisition and disposal transactions from commencement through to settlement.
Obtain legal fee quotations and engage solicitors for property sales and purchases.
Maintain and regularly update the Work in Progress (WIP) register.
Establish new suppliers within approved systems and manage supplier information.
Process marketing, styling, deposit, settlement and other transaction-related invoices.
Coordinate settlement fund transfers and ensure timely payments.
Manage stamp duty exemption applications where applicable.
Maintain accurate transaction records and supporting documentation.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, solicitors, agents, valuers and consultants.
Monitor transaction milestones and communicate progress and risks.
Ensure compliance with TSA policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
Skills Required:
Demonstrated experience in property transaction administration, conveyancing support, property operations, or a similar administrative role.
Experience coordinating property sales, acquisitions, settlements, or related transaction activities.
Proficiency in property management, financial, and administration systems.
Sound understanding of financial administration processes, invoice management, and payment workflows.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple transactions.
High attention to detail and accuracy and well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Tertiary qualifications in Property, Business Administration, Accounting, Law, or a related discipline are desirable.
Requirements of the role:
A National Criminal History Check is required
Valid Drivers License
