Their Business Advisory division partners closely with clients, providing tailored financial management, reporting and strategic support that goes well beyond traditional compliance services. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant seeking a flexible part-time role where you can work closely with clients, take ownership of month-end reporting functions and contribute to broader advisory outcomes. 

The Role: 

• Manage end-to-end month-end accounting processes for a portfolio of key clients 

• Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation and inter-company transactions 

• Complete monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations 

• Prepare month-end management accounts, reporting packs and supporting workpapers 

• Process payroll including PAYG withholding, superannuation, payroll tax and compliance obligations 

• Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS returns 

• Manage supplier invoices and payment processing 

• Liaise directly with clients regarding information requests, reporting and financial queries 

• Support the Business Advisory team across compliance and advisory engagements 

• Identify opportunities to improve systems, reporting processes and efficiencies 

About You: 

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or Business 

• 3–5+ years’ experience in professional services or a relevant commercial accounting environment 

• Strong month-end accounting and financial reporting experience 

• Solid payroll processing and payroll compliance knowledge 

• Experience preparing BAS and IAS obligations 

• Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite or similar accounting systems 

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills 

• Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple deadlines 

• Excellent communication and client relationship skills 

• Solutions-focused mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
