Zira 47 Pty Ltd IL Lago Italian Restaurant is an Australian-owned restaurant located at Shop T15/67 Capestone Blvd, Mango Hill QLD 4509, known for delivering authentic flavours and high-quality dining experiences. We are looking for an experienced Cook to join our kitchen and help us serve delicious, freshly prepared meals to our customers. Key Duties and Responsibilities may Include but not limited to:

• Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
• Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
• Preparing and cooking food
• Seasoning food during cooking
• Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes
• Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities
• Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
• Planning menus and estimating food requirements
• Training other kitchen staff and apprentices Skills and Experience
• Proven 1 year experience as a Cook, preferably in a busy restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Food hygiene and safety certification is preferred.
