Hours: Fridays & Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (10 hours per week)

Are you an efficient, reliable cook who thrives in a relaxed, friendly environment? Willunga Golf Course is looking for a dependable Cook to take charge of our kitchen during our peak morning shifts on Fridays and Saturdays.

About the Role: You will be responsible for preparing and serving quality breakfast and lunch items to golfers and visitors heading off or wrapping up their rounds. This is a straightforward, short-order role perfect for someone seeking consistent weekend morning hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items (e.g., bacon & egg rolls, burgers, toasted sandwiches, chips, and daily specials) in a timely manner.

• Manage prep work to ensure seamless service during morning rushes.

• Maintain strict standards of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and workplace cleanliness.

• Monitor stock levels for weekend service and notify management of reordering needs.

• Handle occasional front-of-house customer interactions with a friendly, welcoming attitude.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in short-order cooking, café, or kitchen operations.

• Valid Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain one).

• Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently.

• Punctual, reliable, and comfortable working weekend mornings.

• Great communication skills and a team-player mindset.
