As a Senior Conveyancing Clerk, you'll play a key role in helping customers achieve one of life's most significant milestones. Joining our Contract Services team based in Melbourne, you'll manage end-to-end conveyancing activities across a portfolio of residential communities, ensuring contracts and settlements are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.

This 12-month parental leave cover opportunity, commencing in January/February 2027, offers the chance to take ownership of your region, provide guidance and mentoring to junior conveyancing clerks, and work collaboratively with internal teams, legal partners and customers to deliver exceptional customer experiences and successful business outcomes.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with three days per week in the office, including Tuesday and Thursday, plus a third day working from either a Stockland asset or Head Office.

We're Looking For a...

Senior Conveyancing Clerk to join our Contract Services team in Melbourne on a 12-month parental leave contract commencing January/February 2027.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Conveyancing Clerk, you'll play a critical role in supporting the successful sale and settlement of Stockland communities. Working within our Contract Services team, you'll manage end-to-end conveyancing activities, partnering closely with internal stakeholders, legal representatives and customers to ensure a seamless settlement experience.

In addition to managing your own portfolio, you'll act as a senior member of the team, leading conveyancing activities across your region and providing day-to-day mentoring, coaching and support to junior conveyancing clerks. You'll share your expertise, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help maintain consistent practices and high service standards across the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and high-performing team where you'll oversee contract administration, settlements, compliance activities and stakeholder engagement, helping Stockland achieve sales and settlement outcomes while delivering exceptional customer service. The role contributes directly to the efficient and compliant management of the conveyancing process across our communities.

About You

Experience & Skills That Count

• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end conveyancing and settlement processes.
• Licensed Conveyancer (required), with property development or real estate industry experience.
• Experience leading regional conveyancing activities and mentoring, coaching or supporting junior team members.
• Strong working knowledge of PEXA and electronic settlements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and high-volume workloads while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience building effective relationships with internal stakeholders, legal representatives and customers.
