About the role
Our client is establishing a new women's health practice in Bairnsdale and needs an experienced and enthusiastic Practice Manager to lead the team.
Providing much-needed comprehensive women's health services to the local community, our client is seeking a strong operational leader to build and manage the practice and support its clinical and administrative teams.
Led by warm, down-to-earth management, this practice genuinely values its people and prides itself on a supportive, close-knit culture. About the role
Reporting to friendly, supportive and approachable directors, who are hands-on and invested in your success, and with an admin team reporting to you, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the practice and play a key role in its ongoing success. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, developing and supporting the clinical and administration teams to maintain a positive culture.
Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth experience for patients and clinicians.
Managing recruitment, onboarding and training, and supporting the team.
Driving business development and building referral relationships.
Ensuring the practice meets its compliance obligations, managing risk and driving continuous improvement.
Supporting marketing, promotions and community engagement to grow the practice's profile and referral base.
Providing hands-on reception and administration back-up when needed.
This role suits someone who enjoys variety, thrives on responsibility, and wants to make a genuine difference in women's healthcare. Starting at 3 days a week for the first two months, the role will then be full-time.
About you
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
5+ years of healthcare management and leadership experience
3+ years of HR, team leader or supervisory experience
Current Provide First Aid & CPR certificate and current Working with Children Check
Full, unrestricted Australian working rights and a satisfactory National Police Check
Strong digital literacy, including confidence with Microsoft Office/365 and patient management software
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
A problem-solving mindset, sound judgement, and the ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.
A genuine passion for women's health and a commitment to a warm, values-driven patient experience
Experience in a private allied health practice, a Diploma of Practice Management, and fluency in Xero/MYOB will be highly regarded, but aren't essential.
