Property Manager

Sentinel Property Group is looking for an experienced Property Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of commercial, industrial and large-format retail assets located in Darwin.

This role is based in our Brisbane office and is responsible for managing our Darwin property portfolio, with travel to Darwin as required.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on accountability, takes ownership and wants to manage their portfolio with a strong commercial mindset.

What You’ll Own

• End-to-end management of a portfolio of commercial, industrial and large-format retail properties across Darwin
• Weekly and monthly property reporting to a high standard
• Budget monitoring, financial forecasting and variance management
• Arrears management and debt recovery
• Building strong relationships with tenants, contractors and key stakeholders
• Oversight of facilities management and maintenance programs
• Compliance with statutory requirements, safety regulations and essential services
• Property inspections, risk assessments and proactive issue management
• Supporting tenant retention and leasing outcomes in collaboration with the Leasing team
• Contractor performance and service delivery
• Risk management systems and property compliance requirements

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience managing commercial property portfolios
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in property, real estate or a related discipline are desirable
• Strong commercial acumen with confidence in budgets, forecasting and financial reporting
• MRI Software experience is highly regarded
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management
• Ability to work autonomously, exercise sound judgement and take ownership of decisions
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to property management
• Ability to travel to Darwin as required
