About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Store person to join our team at our facility in Moorebank NSW 2170. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial part in maintaining the smooth operation of our facilities. As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for the accurate receipt, safe storage, organisation, and timely dispatch of goods, with a strong focus on ensuring our production areas are well-stocked and operate efficiently at all times. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of service we provide to our customers and represents a key position within our operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload and inspect incoming goods, verifying items against delivery documentation

• Organise and store goods in designated locations using efficient storage systems

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are monitored regularly

• Pick and pack orders for dispatch in accordance with customer requirements

• Load goods onto vehicles for delivery, ensuring proper securing and documentation

• Perform stock takes and participate in regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety standards

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and scanners as required

• Support team members to meet daily operational targets and contribute to a positive team environment

• Report any damaged goods, discrepancies or safety concerns to management promptly

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a store person or in a similar warehouse or distribution role

• Demonstrated ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment

• Competency in operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts and other material handling machinery

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly when managing inventory and documentation

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems

• Ability to lift and carry goods regularly, with physical fitness appropriate to the demands of the role

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A commitment to health and safety practices and compliance with workplace procedures

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Current or willingness to obtain relevant licenses and certifications, such as a forklift licence and nsw drivers license
