Part-Time Receptionist (genuine interest) – Brighton Honda, Geely & Chery

Brighton Honda, Geely & Chery, part of the award-winning, family-owned Jowett Motor Group, is looking for a fun, bubbly and organised Receptionist to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is engaged and capable and enjoys being part of a team in a growing business.

You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, creating a warm, professional and welcoming experience from the moment they visit or contact the dealership.

This is a part-time position of 18 hours per week across 4 days, with 4.5-hour shifts:

Monday / Thursday 8:30am – 1:00pm

Wednesday / Friday 1:00pm – 5:30pm

About the role

As our Receptionist, you’ll play an important role in the customer experience, ensuring every customer is welcomed and directed to the relevant team member in a timely manner.

You’ll work closely with our Sales, Service and Management teams to ensure the dealership runs smoothly, with customers being our first priority.

Key responsibilities

• Meet & greet customers and visitors in a warm and professional manner
• Answer, screen and direct incoming phone calls and enquiries
• Provide general administrative and reception support to the dealership
• Assist with appointment enquiries and customer requests
• Work closely with Sales, Service and Management to ensure customers are assisted promptly
• Maintain the reception and showroom areas
• Follow dealership processes, systems and compliance requirements

About you

You might be coming from retail, hospitality, administration, customer service, events or another people-focused environment — or you may simply be looking for a part-time role

What matters most is that you:

• Are a people person who enjoys interacting with others
• Organised, thorough, with great attention to detail
• Are confident, professional and well presented
• Are adaptable and able to multi-task
• Familiar with Microsoft 365 suite
• Are reliable, punctual and keen to learn
• Hold a current driver’s licence

Automotive experience is a bonus, not a must.
