Search Engine Optimization Specialist

We're looking for an SEO Specialist to join the team at Sod.
This is a 12-month maternity leave contract, starting part-time, with the opportunity to move into a full-time permanent role as the business continues to grow.

What you'll be doingManaging a portfolio of SEO clients, with monthly meetings and adhoc WIPsRunning technical SEO audits and on-page optimisationSupport the agency's AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) and AI search visibility initiativesKeyword research and content recommendationsMonitoring rankings, traffic and conversionsWorking alongside Paid Media, Social, Design and Development teamsSupporting website launches from an SEO perspectiveHelping clients understand what's working and what to do next
You'll be a great fit if you...Have 2–4+ years' SEO experience (agency experience is a bonus)Know your way around GA4, Search Console and common SEO toolsEnjoy both technical SEO and content strategyCan explain SEO in plain EnglishLove learning and keeping up with Google's latest changesInterested in the evolution of SEO through AEO tactics and AI search visibility Are organised, proactive and enjoy working with a collaborative team
