We're currently seeking multiple experienced Line Cooks and Grill Cooks to join our growing team. These are cook positions, however we're passionate about developing our people. For the right individual who consistently demonstrates leadership, initiative and exceptional performance, there is a genuine opportunity to progress into a Kitchen Manager role.

About the Role

As a member of our Heart of House team, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional food while maintaining the high standards our guests have come to expect. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking food across grill, fry, make-bench and preparation stations
• Delivering consistently high-quality meals during both quiet and peak service periods
• Following recipes, specifications and operating procedures with accuracy
• Maintaining exceptional food safety, cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Assisting with stock rotation, ordering, stocktakes and inventory management
• Supporting and mentoring less experienced team members
• Maintaining a clean, organised and presentation-ready kitchen
• Working collaboratively to deliver efficient, high-quality service
• Contributing to a positive, professional and high-performing team culture

Cross-Training

At Hello Harry, we believe the strongest hospitality teams are cross-trained. While your primary role will be in the kitchen, you'll also receive training in Front of House duties and may be called upon to assist during busy periods or when operationally required. We don't believe in "that's not my job"—our team works together to deliver an outstanding guest experience, and everyone is prepared to support one another when needed.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for people who:

• Have previous experience working in a commercial kitchen
• Can confidently work grill, fry and food preparation stations
• Perform well in a fast-paced service environment
• Take pride in producing consistently high-quality food
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Are reliable, punctual and take ownership of their work
• Respond positively to coaching and are committed to continual improvement
• Are open to being cross-trained and assisting Front of House when required
• Lead through actions and set high standards for those around them

Minimum Requirements
To be considered, you'll need:

• Demonstrated commercial cooking experience
  
• A current RSA (or willingness to obtain one)
• Availability across a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
• Full Australian working rights

A Certificate III (or higher) in Commercial Cookery is highly regarded but not essential. We place greater value on proven experience, attitude and work ethic.
