Exciting Opportunity: Bartender at BIG4 Saltwater Yamba’s Swim-Up Pool Bar!

BIG4 Saltwater Yamba Holiday Park is looking to get ready for the warmer busy season for our swim-up pool bar and we are looking for a friendly, motivated, and skilled bartender to join our dynamic team!

Located right on the stunning Clarence River, BIG4 Saltwater Yamba offers guests a relaxing and fun holiday experience. As a bartender at our swim-up pool bar, you will play a key role in creating a memorable experience for our guests while ensuring excellent service and a positive atmosphere.

What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking a passionate and outgoing bartender with a flair for delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a friendly attitude, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. A valid NSW RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) is a must, as is a strong commitment to responsible alcohol service and guest safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a range of drinks and food to poolside guests

• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a memorable experience

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area

• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and ensure responsible service in line with RSA guidelines

• Assist with stock management, including restocking bar supplies and inventory tracking

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

• Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a positive, professional atmosphere

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• The ability to work a mixture of both day and evening shifts. Operational hours range from 10am - 8pm. 

• Look after in-house guests and ensuring only guests are in the pool area.

Skills & Attributes:

• A valid NSW RSA is required

• Previous bartending experience is preferred but not essential

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor

• Team player with a positive attitude

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
