Wall and Floor Tiler

TNT Sealing The Wall and Floor Tiler is responsible for preparing surfaces, measuring and planning tiling layouts, cutting and installing tiles, applying adhesives and grout, and completing finishing work on residential and commercial projects. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, good workmanship and compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.

Benefits Full-time permanent position (38 hours per week). Salary: AUD $80,000 – $90,000 per annum plus statutory superannuation, depending on skills and experience. Opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects.

Supportive and professional working environment. Task & responsibilities Prepare wall and floor surfaces for tiling by cleaning, levelling and waterproofing where required. Measure, mark and plan tile layouts in accordance with drawings and specifications.

Cut, shape and lay ceramic, porcelain, stone, marble and other types of tiles. Mix and apply adhesives, grout and sealants. Install wall and floor tiles to a high standard of workmanship.

Repair and replace damaged tiles. Ensure completed work meets Australian building standards and workplace safety requirements. Work effectively with supervisors, builders and other tradespeople.

Qualification & experience Minimum 1 year of relevant full-time work experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler. Relevant trade qualification (Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling or equivalent) is preferred. Ability to read plans and technical drawings.

Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Good communication and teamwork skills. White Card (or ability to obtain one) is desirable.
