About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Medical Receptionist to manage reception and administration duties of our general practice clinic in Adelaide. This is a hands-on role where you will be the central point of contact for our patients in Adelaide and around Australia.

What You'll Be Doing

• Ensuring a great experience for our patients when they first arrive

• Booking appointments for patients and managing their queries

• Performing MBS/DVA billing once trained

• Assisting with our operations team to maintain accreditation

About You

You will bring a blend of reception experience and genuine like for working with people, especially the vulnerable.

Essential:

• Demonstrated experience as a Practice Receptionist in a general practice or primary care setting

• Some working knowledge of Medicare/DVA billing, MBS item numbers, and bulk billing processes

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with GPs, staff, patients, and external stakeholders

• High level of organisational ability and the capacity to juggle competing priorities without losing attention to detail

Desirable:

• Experience with practice management software

• Previous experience working in a multi-GP or mixed billing environment
